Antoinette Parrau works with color and plays with textures. Parisrennes is defined by a vibrant orange as a tonic note.

Antoinette Parrau, Designer.
Lives and works in Rennes. Upon graduating from the Rennes School of Fine Arts in 2004, Antoinette Parrau began producing light objects, which were presented at design fairs: the Saint-Étienne International Design Biennial in 2006, the Maison & Objet trade fair—which invited her to participate in the "Talents à la Carte" program in 2007—and the "Scènes d'Intérieurs" space. Her light objects were also shown at the Satellite furniture fair in Milan. Following this production work, Antoinette Parrau developed research around the manipulation of light, for which the Centre National des Arts Plastiques awarded her a residency and research grant (2009). The DRAC Bretagne (Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Brittany) awarded her an individual grant for creation (2017) for her colored light project inspired by natural light phenomena. She is currently in residence at the Design Care program at the Eugène Marquis Cancer Center in Rennes, supported by 40mcube. and in creative residency “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, at Mosquito Coast Factory, in Campbon (2021) Antoinette Parrau works on light and colour.
In parallel, in 2012 Antoinette Parrau created the label PARISRENNES, through which she produces hand-sized objects and jewelry. It is with this label that she creates various objects and jewelry in collaboration with visual artists.
