A candle like a summer memory, somewhere between an aromatic garden and a southern market. You told me you brought the sun into the house, diffusing the striking scent of fresh herbs, warm earth and ripe vegetables picked at dawn.

The green accord of the vegetable garden evokes the scent of crumpled, still-damp leaves and stems bursting with sunlight. The juicy, sweet tomato adds an unexpected roundness. Then, the aromatic, fresh, and slightly peppery basil completes this exquisitely delicate southern accord. One can almost smell the morning dew on the plants of a Provençal garden.

Before each use, trim the wick of your scented candle to 5 mm using a suitable wick trimmer. Use a candle snuffer to prevent black smoke and preserve the quality of the wax. For the first burn, allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted (approximately 4 hours). This prevents a crater from forming around the wick. If an edge does not melt completely, gently push the soft wax back into the liquid wax before extinguishing the candle.

Compositions

Each of our HAROLD & MAUDE candles is made from 100% natural waxes. No mineral wax, therefore no petroleum-derived paraffin. The fragrances we use are all guaranteed free of CMR substances and phthalates.
