Spiritus Sancti, altar incense and warm wax under the silent nave. In the cool dimness of a grand nave, incense slowly rises in the candlelight. Aldehydes bring an almost mineral clarity, like a beam piercing through white smoke. Then myrrh, benzoin, and sacred woods establish a resinous and meditative depth. Gradually, warm wax and labdanum extend the whole with an amber, silent, and enveloping warmth. A spiritual and majestic candle, blending liturgical incense, precious resins, and sacred light.
