1. Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

1.1 Time Limit and Notification

In accordance with the provisions of Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from the receipt of the product(s) to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason for their decision.

To exercise this right, the Customer can use the withdrawal form directly accessible from the dedicated page of the Maison Diaphane website:

The Customer can also notify their decision:

  • by mail addressed to MAISON DIAPHANE, 11 rue des Lices, 49100 Angers (France);
  • by email to contact@maison-diaphane.com.

The Customer must imperatively mention their order number.

1.2 Return Procedures

From the notification of their decision, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days to return the product(s), either in-store or to the aforementioned address.

The return is made under the exclusive responsibility of the Customer.

1.3 Strict Return Conditions

Only products cumulatively meeting the following conditions can be subject to a refund:

  • product strictly new, intact, unused and untested;
  • total absence of any alteration, manipulation or trace of use;
  • product returned in its original packaging, perfectly intact and in a condition for immediate resale;
  • blister, cellophane or any original sealing device strictly intact and unopened;
  • complete product, with all its accessories, instructions, protective elements and original packaging.

Returned products must be sent back strictly in their original condition and allow for immediate resale.

Any product that has been used, tested, consumed, deteriorated or shows traces of handling incompatible with resale cannot be refunded.

1.4 Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for:

  • products unsealed after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection;
  • products that have been opened, tested, used or altered.

Consequently, any product whose blister, protective film or seal has been removed, even partially, cannot be returned or refunded, especially for perfumes, skincare, cosmetics and products in contact with the skin.

1.5 Refusal of Return

Any product not meeting all of the above conditions:

  • will not be refunded or exchanged;
  • may be returned to the Customer at their expense;
  • may, where applicable, be retained by MAISON DIAPHANE in the absence of a response from the Customer within a reasonable time.

2. Return Costs and Risks

2.1 Return Costs

Return costs remain the sole responsibility of the Customer, except:

  • in case of an error attributable to MAISON DIAPHANE;
  • in case of proven non-conformity of the delivered product.

No package shipped freight collect or cash on delivery will be accepted.

2.2 Responsibility and Transportation

The Customer bears all risks related to the return of the product(s), particularly in case of loss, theft or deterioration.

It is strongly recommended to use a secure shipping method, with tracking and proof of deposit.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

3.1 Refund Procedures

Subject to full compliance with the above conditions, MAISON DIAPHANE will refund the sums paid for the returned product(s), as well as standard delivery costs, if applicable.

The refund will be made within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the notification of withdrawal.

However, in accordance with regulations, MAISON DIAPHANE reserves the right to defer this refund until:

  • the effective recovery of the product(s);
  • and the complete verification of their conformity.

3.2 Payment Method

The refund will be made via the same payment method as that used during the order, unless the Customer expressly agrees to the use of another refund method, without additional cost.
