At Trudon, the house that has worked with light and wax since 1643, material is worked in depth. Absolu embodies this savoir-faire in perfumery: a dense, textured, almost carnal orange blossom, which one would not expect to find so rich.
In this Eau de Parfum concentration, the composition unfurls all its majesty. Cardamom, saffron, and mandarin open with a spicy and luminous tension that prepares the flower for its entrance. Then the orange blossom absolute settles at the heart — enveloped in powdery iris and discreet incense which give it relief and depth. It is this architecture — floral, spicy, resinous — that makes Absolu a citrus fragrance unlike many others. The base of guaiac wood, cedar, and tonka bean prolongs the composition into a noble, dense, and lasting sillage.

Its olfactory pyramid revolves around a dense and textured orange blossom absolute, supported by incense and iris at the heart, preceded by a spicy and luminous opening of cardamom, mandarin, and saffron, and prolonged by a noble base of guaiac wood, cedar, and tonka bean. In Eau de Parfum, this composition expresses all its richness and remarkable longevity of 7 to 9 hours.

Is the orange blossom in Absolu sweet or heavy?
