Pimento and juniper open with a spicy and slightly resinous warmth — lively, direct, unembellished. Angelica brings a slightly bitter vegetal verticality that precisely structures the opening. Cedar, incense, and iris root arrive in the heart in a woody accord of great depth — the iris is powdery and slightly earthy, the incense dry and resinous, the cedar angular and clean.
