In the storerooms of the Santa Maria Novella officina, founded in 1221 in a Dominican convent in Florence, the first preparations were born from meticulous herbals — collections of dried plants, resins, and balms carefully cataloged by the pharmacist friars. Pot Pourri does not seek to recreate this history. It carries it directly onto the skin. This cologne is the distillation of an ancient botanist's gesture — precise, honest, without artifice.
The composition opens with a spicy and fresh clarity. Bergamot and clove create a slightly piquant vivacity — clear, direct, setting the stage without seeking to seduce.
