Its olfactory pyramid revolves around a luminous and transparent sandalwood heart — sandalwood, cedarwood, cinnamon, rose, fig — preceded by a delicate and fresh opening of rosewood, cardamom, cypress, lavender, myrtle and thyme, and extended by a discreet base of musks, amber notes and vanilla. In Eau de Toilette, sandalwood expresses itself with more lightness and transparency than in the Eau de Parfum.

What is the difference between Tam Dao Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum?
The Eau de Toilette is fresher, lighter, and more transparent. The sandalwood is airier, and the resinous base is less prominent. The Eau de Parfum is denser, deeper, with a creamier sandalwood and lasts 7 to 9 hours. The Eau de Toilette is better suited for everyday wear and warmer seasons, while the Eau de Parfum is for evenings and autumn-winter.
Is Tam Dao's sandalwood heavy or sweet?
Neither, and even less so in Eau de Toilette. The fresh opening — cardamom, lavender, cypress — significantly lightens the sandalwood. The vanilla and amber notes in the base provide a discreet sweetness without ever veering into sugary. It is a luminous and controlled sandalwood.
