A harsh light streams through the porthole. The air opens up. The Corsican soil exhales its aromas: wild myrtle, golden immortelle, the zest of still-green citron. The fragrance bursts forth like a burst of sunlight at dawn, vivid, herbaceous, acidic. Grapefruit and citron surge forth together, sharp, vibrant, almost salty.
Gradually, the contours soften. The fig, honeyed and luscious, mingles with sea spray and immortelle, that tough flower with its complex and profound solar fragrance. It evokes walks in the maquis, the dry heat of the stones, the warm breath of a westerly wind laden with resins. In the base, musk and patchouli prolong the sensation: woody, caressing, still a little wild, but tamed by the skin.
