Misfah is a village suspended in the Hajar mountains of Oman — its centuries-old irrigated terraces produce dates and pomegranates under a light of almost unreal intensity. The house founded by Jérôme Di Marino has drawn from it an eau de parfum that smells exactly like that: gentle warmth, ripe fruit, a rose slowly opening in the dry morning air.
The opening is fruity and slightly spicy — sweet date and warm saffron, bright without ever being heavy. Davana and rose arrive in the heart in a remarkably soft floral-fruity accord: davana brings its slightly liqueur-like and honeyed facet, while rose balances with a subtly powdery freshness. The base settles with honey and almond in an enveloping and comforting trail that lingers on the skin with discretion and persistence.
