What is laminaria?

Laminaria is a brown marine algae whose extract has a very precise iodized and slightly saline scent — different from conventional synthetic marine accords in that it is greener, more vegetal, more natural. This is the note that distinguishes Navis from all other marine fragrances in the catalog.

How does it differ from Abyssis?

Abyssis descends into the depths — mineral, dark, woody. Navis stays on the surface — bright, iodized, airy. One evokes the abyss, the other the deck of a ship. Two radically different interpretations of the sea.
