Orphéon was born from this atmosphere. Diptyque wanted to capture Orphéon, this mythical cabaret on Boulevard des Batignolles — a place of nightlife, creation, effortless elegance.
In this Eau de Parfum concentration, the composition unfolds all its richness and complexity. The opening is lively and aromatic — juniper berries, ginger, citrus notes — a fresh and dry entrance that surprises before the warmth settles in. The floral heart is subtle and unexpected: magnolia, rose, ylang-ylang, with those mysterious metallic notes that give Orphéon its urban and singular character. Then the base arrives, deep and enveloping — cedarwood, tonka bean, tobacco, musks, benzoin, patchouli. A dense, elegant warmth that lingers for hours.
