Saffron, date, and violet open together in an unusually contrasting accord — the warm and dry spice of saffron, the fruity and slightly sweet softness of date, and the subtly powdery and floral dimension of violet, which softens without ever sweetening. The heart is that of a grand leather: the leather asserts itself directly, dry and assertive, combined with jasmine, ylang-ylang, and nutmeg which give it warmth and texture. And the base plunges into the most precious materials — Laotian Agarwood with subtly smoky and resinous facets, creamy sandalwood, warm amber, and gurjum, this Southeast Asian resin with balsamic and subtly woody facets that extends the sillage with exceptional persistence.
