Santa Maria Novella, whose Florentine officina has been perpetuating the knowledge of plants and fragrant waters of the Mediterranean since 1221, built Zagara around this precise moment — not orange blossom as a synthetic accord, but orange blossom as a landscape, as light, as a memory.
The composition opens with immediate vegetal and aromatic clarity. Petitgrain, rosemary flower, lavender, and galbanum create a slightly green and herbaceous freshness — clean, precise, preparing the flower for its entrance without rushing it.
