In Frédéric Malle's "Desert Gems" collection, The Moon stands out for its sumptuous composition, inspired by lunar symbolism in the Middle East. There, the moon sets the rhythm for festivities, rituals, and intimate conversations. It is also the most beautiful expression of love: "My Moon." It is all this poetry that Julien Rasquinet captures in a lush and intensely emotional fragrance.
The strength of the oud is softened by a profusion of red fruits: raspberry, lychee, blackberry, and strawberry. At its heart, Turkish rose is adorned with frankincense resin, violet, and redcurrant, before settling into a warm base of leather, patchouli, amber, and precious woods. An olfactory hookah, with soft, woody, and fruity swirls, like an oriental night cradled in promises and mysteries.
