A brisk wind sweeps across the hills, laden with bitter citrus, dry grasses, and invincible memories. Eau de Gloire is an ode to the homeland, an olfactory tribute to eternal Corsica—the Corsica of the maquis, of departures, and of intimate loyalties. It is a fragrance that is direct, dense, luminous, carved like an island from the stone of time.
The opening bursts forth like a bold, bold statement: lavender and rosemary mingle with bergamot, lemon, and tangerine. Then come the Corsican botanicals—myrtle, immortelle, and licorice—unfurling their aromatic warmth in a breath of smoky black tea. Incense rises slowly, anchored by woods and moss. The base, deep and noble, blends leather and tobacco with cistus in a powerful surge that lingers and leaves its mark.
