Bengale Fougere – Scent of Empire
A hushed salon, a scorching jungle. Fougère Bengale unites two seemingly opposing worlds. The opening evokes the elegance of old-fashioned barbershops, with notes of dried lavender, fresh mint, and smoky tea. But soon, the conventions are shattered. The fragrance shifts towards golden hay, blond tobacco, and spices warmed by the Indian sun. The air becomes heavier, more vibrant, more primal.
Oakmoss thickens like a forest, tonka bean leaves a breath of soft skin. Patchouli, rough and almost camphoraceous, gives the fragrance an earthy density, punctuated by a restrained and tender vanilla. It's a fougère that has left the comfort of English drawing rooms for the vaporous foliage of a distant land. A caress under tension, poised between conquest and surrender.
