Why cold-pressed?
Cold-pressing fully preserves the essential fatty acids, tocopherols (natural vitamin E), and vitamins present in the almond. Oil extracted with heat loses some of these active compounds during the process. Cold-pressing is the quality standard for high-end cosmetic vegetable oils.
Can it be used on the face?
Yes—sweet almond oil is non-comedogenic and well-tolerated by all skin types, including the most sensitive. A few drops are sufficient as a night treatment or in addition to a moisturizing cream. Avoid on very oily or acne-prone skin.
How to use it on hair?
