The Pot Pourri Soap is the most botanical and most deeply rooted in the herbalist tradition of Santa Maria Novella — an apothecary founded in Florence in 1221. Its name directly evokes the mixtures of dried herbs that Dominican monks composed in their medicinal gardens to perfume the convent spaces — lavender, thyme, aromatic herbs, resins, moss. An ancestral Florentine tradition distilled into an everyday solid soap.
The whole milk base provides remarkable richness and creaminess — the lather is creamy, fine, and enveloping, nourishing and protecting even the most sensitive skin. The signature scent is immediately vegetal and aromatic — fresh herbs open with a natural and slightly camphorated vibrancy. Lavender brings its characteristic aromatic sweetness, floral and soothing. Thyme adds a slightly medicinal and very authentic dimension.
