This summer, Diptyque — a house founded in 1961 on Boulevard Saint-Germain — imagines a Water Garden: a space paved with ancient stones, shaded by umbrella pines, where orange trees grow alongside geranium bushes and fountains make the water sparkle under the sun. To illustrate this universe, the house entrusted its bottle to mosaic artist Mathilde Jonquière, whose compositions of Venetian enamel, glass paste, and gold bring geraniums to life with rare precision and poetry.
The mist settles on the skin with immediate lightness — aqueous, fine, non-greasy. Lemongrass and lemon eucalyptus essential oils open with a vibrant, slightly camphorated freshness, followed by slightly rosy geranium and subtly floral neroli essential oils. Orange blossom extends the composition in the base with an airy and soothing sweetness — a discreet and botanical trail that accompanies long summer days.

Mathilde Jonquière is a French mosaic artist who creates frescoes by arranging tesserae of Venetian enamel, glass paste, and gold. Her creations, inspired by Mediterranean gardens and waterscapes, bring botanical motifs to life with characteristic precision and luminosity. For this summer edition, she composed a geranium decoration directly on the spray bottle.
