Alphée is the first citrus fragrance from the house of Spoturno — founded by Véronique Spoturno, great-granddaughter of François Spoturno, known as Coty, a pioneer of French perfumery since 1904. Composed by Christopher Sheldrake, one of the most respected perfumers of his generation, and presented in a bottle designed by Pierre and Jules Dinand, Alphée is a declaration of intent: a rare and precious French haute parfumerie that reconnects with a lineage.
Bergamot, bitter orange, mandarin, myrtle leaves, and juniper berries open together in a sharp and mineral fresh accord — luminous citrus, dry and aromatic vegetation, like a sun-drenched Mediterranean scrubland. The heart refines the composition with a more floral and slightly spicy register: delicate and subtly creamy Grandiflorum jasmine, luminous and slightly powdery neroli, subtly peppery pink berries, fresh and slightly green coriander, discreet and warm nutmeg. And the base stretches into a remarkable mineral clarity — dry and subtly smoky vetiver, Ambrofix with slightly marine and very persistent facets, clean and discreet musks — a subtle but long-lasting sillage that remains on the skin like a second nature.
