Fresh saffron and crocus petals first open in a golden, slightly bitter light, before dry herbs and autumnal sea spray compose a lively, earthy heart. Golden resin and sun-baked earth close the accord with a mineral warmth.
Handcrafted in Sri Lanka, each stick tells the story of the manual harvesting of crocuses, an ancestral gesture repeated from hand to hand on the heights of Azerbaijan. Lit at dawn, it opens up space; at the end of the day, it closes off a precious, contemplative bubble.
