A warm breeze stirs the skin, like the echo of a forgotten dessert in a shadowy garden. Far from sugary clichés, vanilla here presents itself as dense, sensual, traversed by woody, almost earthy veins. It evokes a steaming crème brûlée, its sweetness tempered by the dark touch of a refined and enigmatic licorice root.
The opening notes sparkle with candied mandarin, enlivened by bergamot. Then the heart becomes more complex. Licorice, slightly wild, wraps itself around saffron, like a black ribbon on blond leather. Patchouli, dry and deep, anchors this voluptuousness in a balsamic, balsamic, almost medicinal trail. In the base, vanilla and benzoin complete the circle: an enveloping, textured, vibrant warmth that neither seeks to please nor apologizes.
