Ikats and woolens: exceptional textiles

Empires gives a central place to the ikats of Uzbekistan, handwoven in the Ferghana Valley. These ancestral textiles, recognizable by their vibrant and intentionally blurred patterns, exude a unique energy and give life to cushions with a strong visual identity.

The house also showcases Portuguese woolens, which stem from ancient pastoral traditions. Handwoven from merino wool or pure virgin wool, these exceptional textiles are now boldly repurposed to adorn decorative, warm, and deeply expressive lighting fixtures.
